Netball Central Zone is seeking an Events & Marketing Manager for the Central Pulse who play in the ANZ Premiership, Central Manawa national netball league team and Netball Central Zone.
Working in a small, motivated and committed team, this role offers a fantastic opportunity to take ownership and coordinate all events and marketing, including networking events, player activations and games. Your role will service all the Zone events and marketing and administration requirements, as well as working closely with the CEO to ensure relationships with sponsors, partners and key stakeholders are well managed. You will engage and work across the organisation to ensure effective consultation and coordination of activities, in order to deliver on marketing and sales objectives, as well as identifying new opportunities.
We’re looking for a value’s-based experienced Events & Marketing Manager who is exceptionally well organised, proactive and unflappable. You must have proven experience managing the full logistical requirements of events and the confidence to lead, build and maintain strong relationships with all key stakeholders. Ideally, you will also have some experience managing partnership activities/events, as well as an understanding of marketing principles. This is a hands-on role, where you will be required to roll up your sleeves, ensure that the “i’s” are dotted and the “t’s” crossed and do whatever is required to deliver a successful outcome. There is genuine opportunity to further develop and take on additional responsibilities, so you need to demonstrate your ability to use your initiative, confidently take the lead in key relationships and proactively solve problems.

Note, this is a 30-hour a week full time position, with the expectation that weekend work will be required when events are on.
